Restoration of this enormous complex will lead to the creation of a little “town” within the city. In compliance with monument conservation rules, the structures are to remain identical and inside these will be adapted to implement this ingenious project. This comprises a large-scale Multi-function Centre with a large luxury hotel, a Shopping Centre, a Congress Centre and about one hundred apartments of various sizes. The large spaces of “industrial archaeology” in all historic European cities have become prestigious areas for new commercial settlements and luxury residences.
